Afrikaans actuality programme Kyknet had the most delightful review of Louis Trichardt a couple of weeks ago, but what a disappointment when it showed Fort Edward at the library. It is covered with those awful advertisements for abortions.

Please do another article on these advertisements. They are placed all over the town, and I think this is such a negative reflection of our lovely town.

Please consider doing an article on the parks in the town. The municipality did such a good job of fencing them in for the safety of the children, but then someone decided that cars should be allowed in, so they just destroyed the gates.

The one in Forestry road is truly abused. The municipality has cut back all the growth under the trees and it is looking so good, but not for long. The cars enter the park and the visitors leave all their rubbish outside the rubbish bins provided. Some of the benches and tables have been destroyed and the children’s swings etc have in some cases been broken and are looking very sad. One cannot walk there with the children as there are broken bottles scattered all over.
