Bergcare Carnival
From: 16 June 2017 at 08:00 AM Until: 17 June 2017 at 17:00 PM Location: Louis Trichardt Details: Ridgeway College’s grounds are scheduled to undergo a metamorphosis on 16 and 17 June when the Bergcare Carnival takes place. Apart from a large variety of stalls, selling everything from “pap and vleis” to biltong, the young ones can enjoy themselves on a mini funfair. The aim of the carnival is to raise funds for Bergcare, a charity organisation catering for needy people in the Soutpansberg district. The carnival will, however, allow artisans, artists and craftspeople from across the region to showcase their products. Stalls cost R250 per day, making it very affordable for all budding entrepreneurs. Entrepreneurs wishing to book a stall must contact the Dutch Reformed Church (015 516 3902) or Francé Krugel at 076 305 5756. They can also be contacted for more information on the event.
