Border police confiscate cigarettes

During a joint operation involving members of the SA Defence Force and the SA Police, illegal cigarettes worth thousands of rands were confiscated in the bushes along the Pontdrif road outside Musina over the weekend.

Sowat ses weke gelede het mnr. Tim Fraser van Louis Trichardt besluit om die regte ding te doen en ‘n groot waterlek laer af in die straat waar hy bly aan die Vhembe Distriksmunisipaliteit (Vhembe) te rapporteer. Duisende liters water het in die straat af gestroom en die lek het tot gevolg gehad dat huise hoër op sonder water was.

Border fence contractors lose appeal to retain profits

The Special Investigating Unit (SIU) has welcomed the judgment of the Supreme Court of Appeal (SCA), which dismissed a special leave-to-appeal application brought by Caledon River Properties Pty Ltd and Profteam CC.
