New local cricket league about to start

The first clash in the new local league run by the Louis Trichardt Cricket Club will take place next Saturday (17^th) when Limpopo Dairy will test their strength against Vikings. A day later, on Sunday, Vikings will play against Strikers.

The three teams competing in the local league will play against each other on a round-robin basis, with teams playing against each other twice. The final is scheduled for 15 April.

The new league is a 20-over league, with teams comprising 11 players. The matches start at 14:00.
