The Soutpansberg Athletics Club had 10 members take on the gruelling Two Oceans Ultra Marathon in Cape Town on 13 April this year. For some of the first-timers, this was a sobering eye-opener, especially for those preparing for this year’s Comrades Marathon in June.

Die koue en nat weer van Saterdag, 6 April, was nie genoeg om rugbyliefhebbers se geesdrif te demp nie, met die Louis Trichardt Rugbyklub se jaarlikse Conway Rugbydag wat weer ‘n goeie opkoms gehad het.
Ses van Hoërskool Louis Trichardt se atlete het vanaf 3 tot 6 April gaan deelneem aan die Suid-Afrikaanse Skole Atletiekkampioenskappe wat in die Paarl, Weskaap, plaasgevind het en hulle goed van hulle taak gekwyt.
A team comprising 59 para-athletes and 20 officials recently travelled to Bloemfontein to represent Limpopo Province at the Toyota SASAPD National Championships, held from 21 to 25 March. The team’s results are a testament to the positive development of para-sport in Limpopo.
They did it! Louis Trichardt cyclists Kombo Bere and Daan Terblanche cycled across the finish line in Stellenbosch to complete their first-ever Absa Cape Epic on Sunday. This was a dream come true for both, but also a dream they had to fight for in a race considered to be one of the toughest mountain-bike races in the world.
