Last year, the Louis Trichardt SPCA started a new tradition in the form of their SPCA Slipper Day, and this year they will continue with it.
This year, they had to move the date to coincide with the school calendar, but the day is coming up on Friday, 19 July. For only R5, anyone van join in.
“Pay your R5 and get your sticker from any SPCA committee member or from the SPCA or Legacy Animal Clinic. You then get to wear your slippers to work on  19 July 2024,” invite the local SPCA team. Participants are also invited to take a picture of your work crew, friends and family sporting their slippers all day long and tag the Louis Trichardt SPCA in their posts.
