After years of worrying, the management and residents of Our Home Old Age Home in Louis Trichardt can finally breathe a sigh of relief as the massive Tipuana tree that had dangled precariously over the eastern corner of the frail-care unit was finally cut down last week.
"The tree was a great concern to us. It was already leaning over dangerously and if it were to collapse, people would have surely gotten hurt or even worse," said Ms Kittie de Bruin, manager of the old-age home.
