Environmental groups have been accused of putting words into Limpopo Premier Phophi Ramathuba’s mouth, following her State of the Province Address (SOPA) on 27 February. This comes after environmental groups accused the Premier of being biased towards the proposed township development at the Musina Makhado Special Economic Zone (MMSEZ) southern site by using her address to create the idea that the approval of the township development by the Makhado Municipality was a mere formality.
