Two major water projects start in Musina to ensure constant supply

Two major water projects, totaling over R195 million, have been launched in Musina to significantly improve water supply for the town and its townships. These 12-month projects, funded by the WSIG, will upgrade infrastructure including pump stations and reservoirs, addressing long-standing water challenges.

Two major water projects in Musina were handed over to contractors last Wednesday. Funded by the Water Services Infrastructure Grant (WSIG), the projects aim to improve water supply for Musina town and its surrounding townships.

The first project, with a budget of R98.58 million, involves upgrading the Limpopo Booster Pump Station and building new reservoirs. The contract was awarded to My Granny General Trading, with oversight by HWA Consulting Engineers.
