Swanepoel takes first place in Swaziland

Stefan “Swanie” Swanepoel from Louis Trichardt showed once again that he remains a force to be reckoned with by claiming his first national win since returning to the sport during the second national round of the Totpak National Off-road Championship.

Swanepoel competed in the Swazi Cowboyz 400 on 21 March and set the best time over the gruelling 360km track in the Q1 category.

Second place in this category was clinched by André Park from Musina, with defending champion Brian Baragwanath from Polokwane in third place. In August, the Louis Trichardt region will play host to another round of the national off-road series.
